Biography

My name is Yacine Izza and I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at ANITI, Toulouse University under supervision of Prof. João Marques-Silva , since April 2020. My research interests include Artificial Intelligence, Knowledge Representation and Reasoning, Data Mining and Machine Learning.

Before joining ANITI, I was an Assistant Lecturer/Researcher at Artois University (FR) affiliated with the CRIL Lab and Euro-Asian project H2020 AniAge . From May 2019 to January 2020, I was in secondment in Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (MYS), then Can tho University (VN) and finally Chiang Mai University (THA).

On 07 December 2018, I successfully defended my PhD Thesis, titled: On possible approaches for handling contradictory knowledge bases. During my doctoral research I was advised by Prof. Eric Gregoire and Assoc. Prof. Jean-Marie Lagniez
